BIOGRAPHY

Current Situation misa witnessed the murder of her family during an attempted home robbery. the trial against her parents' murderer continued over a long stretch of time, during which opinions that he was falsely accused began to surface. after he was killed by kira, misa felt justice had been served, prompting her to become a loyal kira supporter.one night, shortly after beginning her modeling career, misa met an obsessed, knife-wielding stalker. he confessed his feelings to misa, but upon her rejection, he attacked and attempted to kill her. a shinigami named gelus, who had been watching misa from the shinigami realm and had fallen in love with her, wrote down the name of her stalker and killed him, ultimately saving misa's life.since shinigami are meant to shorten human lifespans and not extend them, gelus himself died, turning to dust and leaving behind only his death note. since misa was meant to die, but was saved by gelus, her lifespan was ultimately extended in the process. another shinigami, rem, witnessed the sacrifice and decided that gelus' notebook should belong to Misa in accordance with gelus' wishes. after giving misa the death note, rem was obligated to stay with her. in the hope of meeting and thanking kira for avenging her parents, misa made the eye deal with rem, she uses this ability to track down light yagami.after being light's girlfriend for a while, meeting ryuzaki and killing multiple people for kira, misa soon realized that her life was worth nothing in his eyes, willing to let her die in various situations. misa left kira, but in a desperate attempt to somehow gain his love after all, she kept killing officials and higher ups for him. as a result of this obession, the woman started to isolate herself in her apartment. soon enough, she had lost her use to kira, causing him to cut her off completely. misa is still unsure if this was light´s doing or her poor mental health, but she attempted to take her life on february 14th. the attempt failed, a stranger finding her in an open field after her overdose.the woman went on a long hiatus, vanishing from all social media, which caused her to lose her contract with the company she was signed under. being on her own by choice left her with a newly found love for life.misa moved apartments, found a new company to work under and finally stopped being the second kira for good. though, she still kept the death note, in case she ever needed it ....

AU. misa is the owner of a death note and still has her shinigami eyes. she has started to be pulled into the whole situation after befriending aki, denji and power. at the same time, devils seem to gravitate around her and sense she is not a regular human, even when seeming like one.the woman is currently trying to make sense of the world she stumbled into. darkness somehow always following her, even though she is trying to turn her life around for the better.
